Standard Bat Box – New Improved Design

The new design standard bat box is a chamber with a wedge top, primarily for use by a range of roosting bat species, particularly for pipistrelles and is suitable for a mating/autumn roost and with an entrance to match a tree rot hole.  Similar in volume to Schwegler 2F.   16mm hole for endoscope inspection in the base facilitating inspection, potentially avoiding working at height with the right equipment.  Light internal finish facilitates detection of droppings or rub marks.  Top loop makes initial attachment to the tree easier – with two further attachment points for 6” nails for security.  Available for shipping from end Feb 22.
